The Electro-Voice Everse 8 Speaker with Tote Package includes accessories and is the first Rechargeable Battery weatherized Speaker model of its type. The EVERSE 8 takes advantage of decades of Electro-Voice engineering expertise - along with the latest advancements in technology - to provide a truly portable and truly wireless audio experience at a price and performance level unmatched by current comparable products on the market. Whether used for live music, vocal reinforcement and/or audio playback, musicians, DJs, production/rental companies, fitness/activity instructors and other professional, amateur and recreational users can all benefit from EVERSE 8's superior sound quality, user-friendliness and all-in-one PA system design - a concept that opens-up real pro-audio performance for a wider range of users than ever before. EVERSE 8 comes in a black or white finish, adding an aesthetic angle to its versatility. With a maximum SPL rating of 121 dB and wide, even 100º x 100º coverage, EVERSE 8's capabilities defy its compact form factor and set uncompromising new benchmarks for its product segment. Core components include an 8” woofer mounted using EV's patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) port design, and a high-output titanium tweeter mounted onto a custom constant-directivity waveguide. And, as with all Electro-Voice portable loudspeakers, EVERSE 8's system reliability is verified with extensive music abuse and endurance testing. EVERSE 8 is powered by a custom-designed high-capacity Li-ion battery pack, fully optimized for audio use and providing plentiful power for up to 12 hours of run time. Protection circuitry reduces the risk of the battery discharging to such a low voltage that it can no longer be recharged - for example, after long periods in storage. Tool-free screws make removing the battery pack effortless. Uncompromising sound quality, unplugged.

On the rear, you'll find a pair of combo XLR-1/4" inputs for microphone or line-level signals as well as a 3.5mm aux input. A Bluetooth receiver allows you to stream audio from your favorite portable device. A free Bluetooth app provides wireless access to factory voicings, compression, EQ, and effects, allowing you to dial in your best sound from anywhere in the room. Pole-mount it into a subwoofer or speaker stand for a DJ set or lay it horizontal on the floor of a stage, where it can serve as a wedge for musicians as they perform. It also can be used as a kickback monitor for added versatility.


The EVERSE 8 features a Replaceable Battery Pack with Long Run Time that provides +6 hours of constant music playback at maximum output levels or over 12+ hours 95 dB SPL average. EVERSE 8 has integrated power-saving features to extend battery life when no signal is present. The 12 VDC jack on the EVERSE 8 speaker can be used to power a wireless microphone receiver like the Electro-Voice RE3 or R300.

Professional-Level Output with Electro-Voice Sound Quality
The EVERSE 8 features an 8" woofer with SST port and a 1" titanium dome tweeter, which produces over 121 dB SPL max and frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The 100 x 100ø waveguide ensures even coverage across all frequencies. Two additional monitor angles (30 and 55ø) ensure the right coverage and position for any situation.

QuickSmart Mobile App and Electra-Voice's Intuitive User Interface
The EVERSE 8 features Electro-Voice's intuitive QuickSmart DSP with single encoder interface for simple and quick setup. EVERSE 8 can be paired via Bluetooth to a mobile device with the QuickSmart Mobile app installed to provide easy remote control of all audio functions. The QuickSmart Mobile app allows pairing and grouping of up to 6 speakers, in any combination, including EVERSE 8, ELX200 powered family, and the EVOLVE family.

High-Quality Stereo Bluetooth Streaming
The EVERSE 8 features Bluetooth streaming, using the AptX-I-ID codec for high-quality stereo audio streaming with compatible devices. Two EVERSE 8 speakers can be paired for True Wireless Stereo (TWS), streaming from a mobile device.

Powered by Dynacord with Built-In Digital Mixer
The EVERSE 8 features a built-in 4-channel mixer with FX, EQ, automatic feedback suppression and ducking functions. The mixer includes two XLR-1/4" combo jacks, including 48V phantom power on input 1 (XLR) and Hi-Z compatibility on input 2 (TRS). The mixer also includes stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm aux input, and USB-C connector for charging your portable devices.
