Designed to provide outstanding performance in terms of output power, bandwidth extension and distortion; the subwoofer cabinet is constructed of birch plywood protected by an environmentally friendly ISO-flex black paint finish. Durable side handles and a robust steel grille are provided with this dual 18" active subwoofer. Optional hardware available for a variety of installation / use applications.
The redesigned 3200 W peak Class D amplifier provides extended bandwith, improved dynamic range and exceptionally low distortion. The Digital Signal Processsing (DSP) incorporated in the Action series provides unparalleled control over the audio signal. Critical parameters have been fine tuned for each cabinet. The Action 218A dual 18" active subwoofer incorporates the 18H4 loudspeaker equipped with 4" voice coils, offering an excellent power handling capacity, reduced distortion and power compression.
All powered Action series subwoofers feature a Deep/Loud Switch, Variable LPF, Polarity and a Logo-On/Off Switch. They also include a professional Neutrik Combo-Jack Input & Thru connection along with a PowerCon power cable.
